MEJIA-BALDION, Alejandro Sebastián. Territorial Dynamics of Colombian Neoliberal Accumulation Pattern: Study Case of Forced Displacement. Bitácora Urbano Territorial [online]. 2016, vol.26, n.2, pp.129-134. ISSN 0124-7913. https://doi.org/10.15446/bitacora.v26n2.57658.
Colombian armed conflict provides a repetitive and exclusive explanation of population's internal displacement, downplaying the impacts of development projects on this phenomenon. Since sustaining this problem despite past and possible peace agreements, this article intend to analyze as an explanatory variable the territorial dynamics of neoliberal accumulation pattern in the country. The latter is supported by the mining and energetic production, foreign investment and the predominance of the financial system. Furthermore, the implications of such cumulative pattern in segregation and increasing precarious conditions of housing alternatives for the displaced population in host cities, specifically in the city of Bogotá, are examined. From the foregoing, the Colombian neoliberal accumulation pattern is found as a victimizer and re-victimizer effect of population displacement; characterization under which elements of discussion are proposed around territorial planning in a context of peace building.
