GUTIERREZ, Gabriel Benítez. Digital city: paradigm of urban globalization. Bitácora Urbano Territorial [online]. 2017, vol.27, n.1, pp.79-88. ISSN 0124-7913.  https://doi.org/10.15446/bitacora.v27n1.51349.

The article reviews the concept of digital city as an element of urban globalization for the 21st century. Analyses the urban complexity, the process of economic and cultural globalization and the rise of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). It examines the digital city models applied in Béjar (Spain) and in Mexico City. This provides a theoretical perspective in urban contexts that are transversally intervened by this model of urban management "digital city" as a sign of globalization.
