It is the economic model imposed on a country that defines, among other things, provisions relating to land planning that prevail. Understanding the role of neoliberalism in Colombia is crucial to assess the opportunities and threats facing the nation in post-conflict scenario. On the one hand, some urban-regional dynamics linked to the economic model in increasing development in regions where the state has not had control of the use of violence, and secondly, the possibility for democratic social sectors interested in modifying the economic matrix to claim of their demands without being associated with armed opposition groups or terrorism, constituting betting system from a regional perspective in line with the needs of the country.
