Government responses have oscillated between harsher legal repression and violent repression by police forces and the army. Using a qualitative methodology, based on an exploratory case study, this reflection article aims to analyze the National Strike in Colombia in 2021, through the concept of authoritarian neoliberalism, adding the contributions of the geographical discipline in the study of social movements in power disputes that manifest themselves in public space.
