The objective of this article is to share the perceptions that young university students have about the concepts of discrimination and racism, as well as to identify the various manifestations that are made visible within their universities. The experience is analyzed from the qualitative approach, considering the descriptive phenomenological perspective, since, from the registered opinions, the interviews, and the filling of an instrument it is possible to recognize aloud their concepts and experiences on the subject. The work documents the participation of 102 students in two Peace Laboratories, as well as N interviews on the same topic. Among the results, the students learned to differentiate the concepts of discrimination and racism; as well as realizing that the problem is more present than they thought. In addition to being interested in learning more about the subject and committing to participate in activities to eradicate racism in universities.
