The objective of this document is to demonstrate that from the creation of the intercultural educational model in Mexico, legal education approaches pluralism and therefore must include the study of the internal regulatory systems of the original peoples. For this, it is used, as a case study, the qualitative analysis of legal education in the State of Chiapas, a federal entity that has the presence of at least 12 native peoples, and its link with the interculturality of what is obtained. the level of development that legal pluralism has in scenarios of cultural diversity in Mexico, which proves the need to establish an academic dialogue between the hegemonic legal system and the internal nosmative systems of the indigenous peoples and communities of Mexico.
