CASTELLANOS, Martha Patricia; FLOREZ PENA, Teresa; BUSTOS, Omar Orlando and MONTERO CAICEDO, Leidy Lorena. INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES: ANALYSIS OF THE AREANDINA EXPERIENCE THROUGH THE USE OF AGILE METHODOLOGIES. Investig. andina [online]. 2023, vol.25, n.46, pp.98-111. Epub Apr 01, 2023. The aim of this article is to analyze the results obtained from the Educational Innovation Macroproject carried out at the Universitary Foundation of the Andean Area (Areandina), a higher education institution in Colombia, highlighting the achievements, impact, and lessons learned during the teacher training process for the strengthening of pedagogical competencies. The development of this project included the application of agile methodologies and the systematization of educational experiences. Upon analyzing the gathered information, the effectiveness of specific tools implemented in the project stands out. The “Myself Cards” emerged as a valuable strategy, along with demonstrative classes, “innovation and learning Fridays,” and the Areandina Inn microsite. These initiatives contributed to the emergence of new work environments, fostering both autonomy and collaboration among teachers. Furthermore, a new formative evaluation model was identified, aiming to more effectively measure students’ achievements and progress. A roadmap and a decalogue of innovation were established, providing a structured guide for the continuous implementation of innovative practices and the centrality of the teacher in the teaching-learning process as a key agent for the success of educational innovation in the institution. Finally, the recognition of innovative practices and significant changes in institutional dynamics promoting teacher autonomy and the implementation of new tools in training processes were acknowledged.
