Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper compares the performance of three micro-controlled architectures in the implementation of a fuzzy controller, these correspond to a PIC18F2550, a MSP430G2452 and DSPIC30F4011. In order to establish which of them offers an advantage or disadvantage in terms of memory used for both program and data, response time and power consumption. Thus allowing setting the characteristics of each and criteria for selecting one in an embedded control application and in general any application that requires the device storage capacity and processing speed.
