SANCHEZ-MORENO, Jhohan Andrés y FIGUEROA-GARCIA, Juan Carlos. Clustering techniques and geospatial analysis - Comparative study on the Bogotá emergency line. Cienc. Ing. Neogranad. [online]. 2024, vol.34, n.2, pp.131-146. Epub 29-Oct-2024. ISSN 0124-8170. https://doi.org/10.18359/rfcb.7474.
This study presents a comparative analysis of two temporal periods: the first covers the two years preceding the COVID-19 pandemic (2018 and 2019), and the second encompasses the pandemic years (2020 and 2021) in Bogotá, Colombia. Clustering techniques and geospatial analysis were employed to examine and compare these periods, identifying changes in incident patterns and response efforts. The analysis considered the type of vehicle and assigned priority. Spatial analysis revealed that the southwestern and southern areas were the most affected, with noticeable differences in incident patterns between daytime and nighttime hours. During the pandemic, response times increased, particularly for mental health incidents, while these affected areas experienced a rise in incident frequency.
