The objective of this work is to determine whether is any relationship between the Mipyme and meso level competitiveness in a region.

In order to this aim, will be develop the topic about business competitiveness with emphasis on the systemic approach to competitiveness, focusing in the meso level. Subsequently, there was a collection of indicator data of 2010, both the competitiveness of Mipymes as regional competitiveness. Finally, we performed a descriptive and correlational analysis it was possible to obtain the findings and conclusions of this research.

The main results of this researching consist in there is a important relation between number of Colombian Mipymes and educational infrastructure, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), it which would indicate the importance of the permanence of Mipymes development of a region.
