Abstract

VASQUEZ TORRES, María del Carmen  and  FLORES LOPEZ, José Guadalupe. HUMAN RIGHTS, GENDER PERSPECTIVE AND DISCRIMINATION IN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS OF THE AREA ECONOMICADMINISTRATIVE OF NORTHWEST MEXICO. Tend. [online]. 2019, vol.20, n.1, pp.158-182. ISSN 0124-8693.  https://doi.org/10.22267/rtend.192001.112.

Higher Education Institutions play a transcendental role in the formation of students, turning them into transforming professionals in the world in which we live. The article proposes to determine the perception of respect for the human rights of university students in Mexico. As a result of the research, students consider that there is a good student climate; gender equity and think that both men and women have the same opportunities. Finally, despite the fact that universities work on human rights, much remains to be done and it is essential to have a society of principles and values in order to grow as human beings. It also establishes the high relationship that exists between the gender perspective and discrimination.
