Abstract

The objective of this article is to show evidence of the strategies that were implemented through the SENA Emprende Rural program - SER of the SENA Industrial Center and Business Development of Soacha, Cundinamarca for the incubation and strengthening of undertakings of productive units. A descriptive, non-experimental, transectional and field quantitative study was defined. A questionnaire was designed following the Delphi methodology, and applied to a sample of rural entrepreneurial leaders. SENA Program Emprende Rural Industrial Center and Business Development of Soacha. This questionnaire presents eight items, four for the entrepreneurial variable and four for the innovation variable. It was found that the acceleration strategies implemented by SENA and local governments have had a positive impact on the perception of innovation and growth of the leaders of the productive units studied. It is concluded that the implementation of this type of public strategies in the long term will have a positive impact on the sustainability of companies conceived in rural areas that ultimately mark the creation of new jobs and economic growth in rural areas.
