The research article shows the identification of the characteristics with the greatest impact on medium-sized companies in Mexico and Colombia in front of Quality, Competitiveness, Social innovation and Productivity, the type of applied research is quasi-experimental, the cut of the investigation. it is quantitative, the Delphi survey was applied to 35 experts on the subject in Colombia and Mexico, the research design is cross-sectional, the scope of the research is descriptive of the theoretical variables quality, social innovation and competitiveness, and statistical analysis of data with R ® software, finally the use of quality tools in medium-sized companies in Mexico and Colombia in the implementation of quality strategies shows that they satisfy the needs of the internal and external communities of the entities from the strategic planning in management systems of quality with social innovation. and productive by strengthening processes, procedures and social security of human capital in medium-sized companies in Colombia and Mexico.
