CONTRERAS-DUARTE, ANDRÉS RICARDO; BOGOTA-ANGEL, RAÚL GIOVANNI  and  JIMENEZ-BULLA, LUIS CARLOS. Spores atlas of pteridophytes of Chipaque (Cundinamarca, Colombia). Caldasia [online]. 2006, vol.28, n.2, pp.327-358. ISSN 0366-5232.

We describe the spores of 53 species, 25 genera and 17 families of pteridofites present in Marilandia neighborhood, Chipaque, Cundinamarca. The families and genera founded are described. Seven families present monolete spores (Aspleniaceae, Blechnaceae, Dryopteridaceae, Gleicheniaceae, Lomariopsidaceae, Polypodiaceae y Thelypteridaceae), eight present trilete spores (Cyatheaceae, Dicksoniaceae, Grammitidaceae, Hymenophyllaceae, Lophosoriaceae, Lycopodiaceae, Plagiogyriaceae y Pteridaceae), one family presents both spore types (Dennstaedtiaceae) and only Equisetaceae presents alete spores. The dominant exinic sculpture patterns are psilate and verrucate. The most frecuent shape is oblate spores. The spores of Aspleniaceae, Blechnaceae, Dennstaedtiaceae, Dryopteridaceae, Equisetaceae, Lomariopsidaceae, Lophosoriaceae, Polypodiaceae, Pteridaceae y Thelypteridaceae present perine, in Lophosoriaceae and Pteridaceae special structures. The intermediate shapes observed in Terpsichore spores (Grammitidaceae), concord with other locations.
