Abstract

We analyze the range Megaleas genus is recorded for the first time to Colombia and described a new species Megaleas angelae n. sp. In Altaquer-Nariño, Colombia South, based on material deposited in the entomological collection of the Institute of Sciences of the National University of Colombia in Bogotá. We discuss differences between Megaleas Syrna and the new species.
