Abstract

RINCON-ESPITIA, Angélica. MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF CORTICOLOUS LICHEN ASCOSPORES IN THE COLOMBIAN CARIBBEAN. Rev. acad. colomb. cienc. exact. fis. nat. [online]. 2013, vol.37, n.145, pp.483-498. ISSN 0370-3908.

92 ascospores are described corticolous lichen species, grouped in 38 genera and 18 familism, distributed in the Caribbean region of Colombia. Ascospores studied had an affinity for the ellipsoid and spindle-shaped morphology with transverse septa with thick walls, the common size was between seven to 25 mm and staining was absent in most of them.
