The burocracia sindical notion is usually used to describe the leader action trade union who are characterized as reformers, undemocratic and defenders of their own interest tending to state integration. This category has been generally used to judge trade union leaders more than to explain it. Through a combination of fieldwork and archival work, the goal of this paper is inquire about the concept of burocracia and the meaning of it inside the trade union battles. In these, the enemy is constructed like a bureaucrat and traitor. This study is based on union struggles analysis carried out in one fishing industry unions in Mar del Plata, Argentina.
