Abstract

SANCHEZ-ALZATE, Jonathan  and  AGUILERA-MARTINEZ, Fabián Adolfo. Methodology for the re-signification of urban memory in edge territories. Urban Krono Morphosis through the revision of historical phenomena. Rev. Arquit. (Bogotá) [online]. 2023, vol.25, n.2, pp.123-137.  Epub Jan 24, 2024. The foundational center of Usme has been a territory permeated by history, symbols, architecture and urban planning, in addition to having an important indigenous legacy for the city of Bogotá that has been in the collective memory of some of its inhabitants. However, today it presents problems in terms of loss of identity due to morphological changes which are gradually degrading this territory due to its condition as a rural-urban edge. This project aims to re-signify the memory using the urban Krono Morphosis, a concept associated with the collective imaginary, through the revision of historical phenomena. The concepts of morphology and typology refer to the constant accessibility and territorial appropriation in the transformation process. To this end, they are approached from the inductive method based on four fundamental stages that allow us to analyze and understand the rupture generated by bad decisions in the planning of a territory, as well as to create multidisciplinary positions and reflections about the problem and its conditions.

Keywords : collective memory; cultural identity; social participation; urban imaginaries; urban space.
