This paper presents the results of the assessment of business performance in Colombia by sectors in 2010 and compares them with the results of 2009, using the integral financial analysis technique. For that, it used the financial data of the companies which reported information for those periods to the Superintendence of Companies in Colombia and it was classified by companies groups and its financial results according to the economic activity in six sectors: agriculture, mining, services, industry, trade and construction. The results of this analysis shows that the mining boom generate high profits and perspectives of growth in this sector, while agriculture continue with serious difficulties on different components of liquidity, profitability and debt, it evidence that there aren't greater efforts on policies and investment for its recuperation.
