Abstract

CASTRO RODRIGUEZ, Sixto José. ETHICS AND AESTHETICS: AN UNAVOIDABLE RELATIONSHIP. rev.latinoam.bioet. [online]. 2012, vol.12, n.1, pp.62-69. ISSN 1657-4702.

The relationship between ethics and aesthetics is constant throughout history, but the realization of it has taken various forms and depends largely on the theories of art and ethical systems considered. The study of the relationship between both sheds light not only on its analogy or difference, but on the very being of aesthetics and ethics as such and their relationship with other ways of understanding reality, including politics, theology or biology.

Keywords : Ethics; aesthetics; art; kalokagathía; body.
