Bioethics is currently in the midst of a deep crisis. A review of the state-of-the art clealry shows that the discipline has been encountering a number of hurdels both in its social significance as well as in its scientific and epistemological concern. Simultaneously, human living and societies are living a number of intertwined crises all around. This paper argues that both phenomena are deeply related and studies the reasons and consequences.
