Abstract

FIGUEROA S., Helwar Hernando. GRANDPARENTS OF MEMORY AGUABLANCA (CALI, COLOMBIA): BETWEEN A CITY AND A RUGGED BACK COUNTRY UTOPIA. rev.latinoam.bioet. [online]. 2014, vol.14, n.1, pp.62-81. ISSN 1657-4702.

The methodology used was based in the accompaniment to a focal group, formed by twelve afro-Colombian grandparents, who live in Aguablanca district (Cali), displaced from the Colombian Pacific. This methodology was complemented with in-depth interviews. The objective of this investigation was to understand how internally displaced people remember the countryside from the city and, at the same time, contextualize the stories of the displacement that they suffered. In the conclusions is confirmed that the use of the collective memory benefits the creation of a pluralistic and inclusive ethics, which helps in the restitution of the violated rights of the internally displaced people

Keywords : Colombia; forced mobilization; bioethics; memory; african-colombian and human rights.
