The history of nursing is the history of humanity. Care actions have been present along history and are essential to life. Christian doctrine expresses its love to God through care and love for the poor and sick people. Christian doctrine has great influence in nursing; values such as solidarity, life respect and love are reaffirmed by Christ's doctrine.
