Abstract

DE LA HOZ SUAREZ, Aminta; DE LA HOZ SUAREZ, Betty  and  FLORES URBAEZ, Matilde. Perfil tecnológico de una empresa de alimentos. Pensam. gest. [online]. 2008, n.25, pp.78-93. ISSN 1657-6276.

This article has as a main objective to define the technological profile of a manufacturing nutritional paste company, as much in the administrative area as in the area of long paste production. This investigation was of a focused descriptive exploratory character in a case study, and a structured interview applied to key informants of the studied company was used as a technique of data collection as well as the non participant direct observation. The main results were the following: the mechanization index is high, the administrative processes and those of production are closely related through an automated system of process control which has brought an important reduction and retraining of the personnel. By the technological profile of the company this one is placed in a technological system of transition between the second technological system based around three generic technologies: the electricity, the mechanics and chemistry and the third technological system based on information technologies represented by the automated system of the company for the control of the production administrative processes.

Keywords : Technology; technological profile; productive nutritional paste process.
