This research aimed at knowing and analysing the beliefs, values and motivations followed by the actual Bogotano entrepreneur. A descriptive methodology with a qualitative approach was used. The participants were 46 entrepreneurs from Bogotá. The information was collected trough in depth interviews and it was arranged in six categories. This article makes reference to two categories: Ethics and enterprise and Who is the entrepreneur. The result concludes that the social responsibility of most entrepreneurs is limited to satisfying the benefits of their enterprise. The analyses of the results in reference to the second category conclude that the actions of the entrepreneur are committed to their competencies as well as particular situations and conditions of the social context. It is expected that the results will give elements that will help to improve the training process of the future entrepreneurs.
