ZAPATA ROTUNDO, Gerardo J. e HERNANDEZ ARIAS, Aymara. Incentives system and basic types of job in the organization under the agency theory perspective. Pensam. gest. [online]. 2010, n.29, pp.56-86. ISSN 1657-6276.
The article provides the results of a quantitative empirical research, which was made on a sample of large Spanish enterprises. The research covered organizational design variables basic types of work and their relationship and importance in the definition of the intrinsic incentives, within the framework of agency theory. Two hypotheses that link the studied variables were established through the theorical framework development. The three measuring scales used to quantify the mentioned variables were rigorously evaluated with regard to reliability and convergent validity using statistical methods: Cronbach's alpha and Confirmatory factor analysis, respectively. Finally, statistical techniques were applied on obtained field data: Cluster Analysis, One-Way Analysis of Variance, Analysis of Regression and Tests of Pearson's Correlation. The results confirm the raised hypothesis in relation to the work complexity and its relation with intrinsic incentives of the organization.
