In this article a research main outcome is presented. It attempted to visualize the current situation in regard to owners and managers backgrounds, knowledge, and amelioration wishes in Duitama and Sogamoso (Boyacá-Colombia). A survey model was applied in order to measure the entrepreneurial level and the enterprise spirit in chosen entrepreneurs. Likewise, it was established their profile and their innovation level.
