This article text is a result of the investigation that with regard to the pragmatism in the organizations it's come realizing for the group of investigation of the Faculty of Social Communication of the Universidad Autónoma del Caribe. With her, it proposes to do a brief reflection of some administrative practices answered by the communication, which in our context have been adopted as the managerial way and as the academic way. In this case, the area of attention relapses into the current of the leadership, which so much echo has had in the practices of the organization and which deserves an arrested examination of his suppositions, from the idea that is had of this concept.
