Abstract
DUCON SALAS, Julio César; TORRES, Andrea Cely and MUNOZ, John Harold. Contributions to the strengthening of local production agglomeration, as an operational risk management strategy. Case: footwear and leather goodsindustry in Bogotá, Col. Pensam. gest. [online]. 2018, n.44, pp.74-101. ISSN 1657-6276. https://doi.org/10.14482/pege.44.9838.
The article shows the results of an analysis of the operational risks present in the footwear and leather goods industry in the city of Bogotá. To do this, the experience of the Zasca CSE project is taken as a reference, which is considered relevant for this analysis, because this intervention allows the description of the interrelationships of the risks to which companies in the productive sector that make up the industrialagglomeration located in the sector of the Restrepo neighborhood. The methodological process employed had a qualitative approach of descriptive type, in which primary sources of information were used such as interviews with actors related to the project (coordinator, area leaders and small entrepreneurs), and secondary sources such as databases and institutional reports, from which a case was built specifically illustrating the proposed objective. As a final result, we obtained empirical evidence of the situation of small enterprises in their real context and we highlight the need and importance of joint efforts between small producers and institutional support, as a strategy to faceinternal and external risks, in order to improve the competitive position, productivity and the use of resources.
