Abstract

PENALOSA OTERO, Mónica Eugenia  and  LOPEZ CELIS, Diana María. The stereotype of colombians against consumption socially responsible. Pensam. gest. [online]. 2018, n.44, pp.243-260. ISSN 1657-6276.  https://doi.org/10.14482/pege.44.10384.

The purpose of this article is to determine the attitude of Colombians towards socially responsible consumption, for which a descriptive research was carried out at the national level, taking as reference the main cities; Bogotá, Cali, Medellín and Barranquilla with a sample of 400 subjects distributed homogeneously among these four cities, in which the attitudes were evaluated regarding four major dimensions: rational purchasing, ethics, responsible consumption in general and environmental issues; all questions were measured on a Likert scale and data analysis was performed from the multivariate statistical technique “Conglomerate Analysis” (Cluster). Among the main results, it was possible to identify that for Colombians, the subject is important, which is evidenced by the positive attitude towards the issue of responsible consumption, specifically with corporate social responsibility.

Keywords : Socially responsible consumption; attitude; analysis of conglomerates; ethics.
