Abstract

Consumer purchasing behavior has changed drastically because of the Covid-19 pandemic, which transformed purchasing habits and drove a new dynamic in consumer trends worldwide. The objective of this study was to analyze the purchasing behavior of drugstore customers during the Covid-19 pandemic in Boyacá (Colombia). The method used was descriptive, empirical, quantitative. The results show new trends in the purchase behavior of drugstore customers due to the pandemic, since the use of technology to obtain information and access to products increased. In addition, it encouraged the purchase by digital means, which led drugstores to have greater visibility on the Internet, opening new opportunities for growth and business competitiveness and a notorious acceleration of the digital transformation in the business world.
