The article analyzes the relationship between land prices, distance to employment centers and residential segregation in Cali. It carries out exploratory and confirmatory analyzes of: spatial data by neighborhoods, identifies the centers and subcenters by mathematical methods and calibrates a cubic spline function; for which it uses the cadastral appraisals and the employment densities. The exploratory analysis of the scenarios suggested the specification of spatial econometric models that related the distribution of employment, land prices, and residential segregation. Although the importance of the traditional center still persists, the findings provided evidence about the transition to a multicentre structure in Cali. The econometric estimations displayed how soil prices obey a differentiated pattern in which high appraisals are located over the longitudinal axis and low appraisals in the peripheral areas, with distances relatively high to the centers and high concentration of the groups of greater social and economic vulnerability.
