Abstract

ROA-MARTINEZ, María Gertrudis  and  IBARRA-MELO, María Eugenia. Associated Factors with social disaffiliation of FARC´s reincorporated members in Valle del Cauca - 2019. Soc. Econ. [online]. 2022, n.45, e10111328.  Epub Dec 17, 2021. ISSN 1657-6357.  https://doi.org/10.25100/sye.v0i45.11328.

Social inclusion of ex-guerrillas is linked to the implementation of the Final Agreement to End the Armed Conflict and Build a Stable and Lasting Peace. This agreement promised them social, economic, and political reincorporation. This paper characterizes this population in Valle del Cauca using a multidimensional disaffiliation index and the construction of regression trees with the CTR model in SPSS. The results allow us to establish that the reincorporation process is heterogeneous, and that the factors with the greatest incidence in disaffiliation are the following: being unemployed or linked to informal jobs, having dependents, and being between 18 and 56 years old. In this group stand out people with physical or mental disabilities, Afro-Colombians and indigenous people with little academic training and work experience, who do not have roots in the cities. They face high risks of falling into extreme poverty, being recruited again, or being linked to crime, which constitutes a challenge for the State and society.

Keywords : social disaffiliation; reincorporation; peace process; ex-guerrillas; Final agreement.
