The design of national policies, treatment models, and juvenile judicial systems are directed toward crime prevention, and family and social reintegration. However, the Latin American and Caribbean region has the highest crime rates and crime victims among the population of children and adolescents. For this reason, we will delve into an analytical exploration of the theoretical notions and constructs, which describe socio-educational interventions and treatments, oriented toward the promotion of prosocial actions in legally infringing adolescents, in resocialization programs.
