This article presents a review on advances and trends in research in Colombia on the subject of families made up of parents with different sexual orientations and gender identities. It was developed from a review on academic production, which included a ten-year period (2009-2019). The results identified three topics of greatest interest: I) the recognition and violation of rights, II) the perceptions and experiences of families in contexts of stigmatization, and III) the experience or expectation of parenthood in men and women with diverse sexual orientations.

Keywords : LGBT; Parenting; Rights; and Stigmatization by Gender.
