Abstract

BOLIVAR-SUAREZ, Yolima  and  GAVIRIA-GOMEZ, Ana Milena. Public Policy on Dating Violence: A Failed Subject in Colombia?. Ágora U.S.B. [online]. 2021, vol.21, n.1, pp.358-365.  Epub Nov 01, 2021. ISSN 1657-8031.  https://doi.org/10.21500/16578031.4420.

Dating violence (DV) is considered a public health problem due to the physical, emotional, social effects. In addition to being a pre-family stage, violent events will possibly be replicated and could generate domestic violence. Individual, family, community, and population intervention strategies are required. There is then a need to identify whether or not public policies and legislation exist, which directly address DV in the Colombian case.

Keywords : Government Policy; Legislation, and Dating Violence.
