The vindication of the place of community mothers in the formation of political emotions in boys and girls is a necessary step to strengthen the care practices that are lived in the community homes in the Nueva Villa de la Iguaná neigh borhood, in the city of Medellin, Colombia. Likewise, it is recognized that com munity mothers, through care practices, not only favor the development and growth of children, but also they position themselves as shapers of subjects for citizenship.
