The feast of the Day of the Dead is a celebration that takes place in several Latin American countries. This article identified the cultural man ifestations in the celebration of the Day of the Dead in the Camêntsá Biyá community of Alto Putumayo in Colombia and its relationship with the countries of Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Peru. Fi nally, similarities were found in the manifestations of intangible heritage among countries and a relationship in Colombia. Food was identified as the most important element among symbols and customs.
