Resumen
GUILLERMO, SERGIO y UREGO, CASTELLANOS. Some Metapsychological Considerations about Transference. Univ. Psychol. [online]. 2009, vol.8, n.1, pp.215-224. ISSN 1657-9267.
This paper shows a metapsychological recreation of transference from a conceptualization of representations as the units of psychism. Transference has its origins in the effort of an unsatisfied libidinal investiture that continues to be active in the Unconscious, and which allows the primary process to inadvertently filter into the secondary process through a "false link". Therefore, a current perception becomes identified with the expectative representation, which makes the individual believe that this new person will satisfy the aforementioned investiture. Transference neurosis is a psychoanalytic pillar, since only through it may one consciously and currently have access the repressed unconscious drives, a feature of childhood sexuality, and restart the psychosexual development.
