In an essay manner, the author warns about the numerous risks that entail publishing medical articles and gives example of how clinical investigation turns away from its main targets if not developed under the watchful eyes of skepticism which is a crucial condition in order to avoid mistakes and come closer to the truth as possible, even though this legitimacy is temporary. The article argues with authoritarianism in medicine, dehumanized medical practices and the short sighted practice of taking principles from medicine based on evidence.
