Abstract

VELEZ LOTERO, Juan Mauricio. Digital divergences from digital convergences: Experience of Capicúa in Telemedellín 2.0. anagramas rumbos sentidos comun. [online]. 2010, vol.9, n.17, pp.31-44. ISSN 1692-2522.

The following article presents the results of a research project on the functions that the multimedia narrative from the children television program Capicúa fulfills in developing the Capiamiguitos' learning abilities. (Capiamiguitos or "Capi-little friends" are children between the ages of 8-11 who use the TV-internet convergent model). It analyzes, from the viewpoints of spectators, content and textual analysis of TV and web 2.0, the ways in which the audiovisual narrative, multimedia language and interactivity allow users to appropriate knowledge. It shows how, from the informal knowledge of digital convergence, emerges a creation of digital divergences that transmit formal knowledge, in order to develop the spectators' (telenauts') abilities.

Keywords : convergent models; television and internet; multimedia narrative; learning abilities; interactivity.
