Abstract

LOPEZ DAZA, Germán Alfonso. Doctrine in the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court of Colombia. Opin. jurid. [online]. 2012, vol.11, n.21, pp.57-72. ISSN 1692-2530.

In the system of sources of law, the doctrine is an auxiliary source of Colombian law. As the supreme jurisdictions, the Colombian Constitutional Court comes to specialized legal doctrine to supportdecisions. The dialogue of the Colombian Constitutional Court's doctrine has been significant but not very recurrent in his constitutional jurisprudence. The analysis of 550 decisions handed down in 2011 reflects the low incidence of doctrine in the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court.

Keywords : Doctrine; sources of law; constitutional jurisprudence; constitutional control.
