Abstract

This article outlines some of the findings regarding the objectives set in the named research, especially those focused on the concept of ''transformation'' when handling family conflicts. For this purpose, the research was supported by the opinion of experts and the description and contrast of perception of those parties involved in the mediation meetings. The article also makes reference to conflicts of couples and families and differences and similarities of conflicts concerning their origin and handling are highlighted; the concept of ''family mediation'' becomes evident as a ground to finally highlight the elements offering a possibility to transform conflicts and family relationships.
