In this work, the first version of 2005's emissions inventory of greenhouse effect gases in Montería town (Córdoba, Colombia) is reported. This inventory includes the originated emissions from automotive vehicles, sanitary fillings and biogenic sources. Point sources were not considered because these are not common in the interested zone and they generate polluting agents different from greenhouse effect gases. The estimated values in this research were obtained by mean of indirect methods and they do not correspond to absolute values. Therefore, they are used in order to illustrate the amounts of gases that are really emitted and unloaded to atmosphere
