Abstract

POSADA ARRUBLA, Adriana María. Environmental interests: reflections on the application of diffuse issues. Rev. ing. univ. Medellin [online]. 2009, vol.8, n.14, pp.11-20. ISSN 1692-3324.

Several persons and institutions are interested in knowing what it can happen in a specific zone or natural resource, since they are interested in empowering and managing their own projects, either environmental or not, and they are also interested in having present and future benefits. Indentifying such interests as well as the way for optimizing them with the purpose of achieving a more equitable and efficient use of resources in principle requires a knowledge of the interests which may arise in relation to a natural resource or a specific zone and possible tendencies, and then establish relevant strategies which allow having an appropriate social-environmental management. There is not a specific methodology for determining environmental interests of the structure applied to a specific natural resource or territorial space. However, some situations can be established to obtain a result: approach, people involved, and strategies for applying actions.

Keywords : Environmental interests; diffuse interests.
