Abstract

GONZALEZ PALACIO, Liliana; ECHEVERRI, Jaime Alberto  and  URREGO GIRALDO, Germán. Fuzzy Logic Tool for Defining an Individual's Personality Traits. Rev. ing. univ. Medellín [online]. 2011, vol.10, n.19, pp.137-148. ISSN 1692-3324.

Methods used currently to define an individual's personality consist of a set of questions which are analyzed by a specialist and, according to several parameters, a diagnosis is made. This procedure incorporates subjectivity and error emergence possibility. In the search for avoiding biased results caused by the specialist's criterion and automating information processing tasks to reduce times and amount of errors, a mechanism for defining an individual's personality traits using fuzzy logic is proposed in this article.

Keywords : fuzzy logic; computational intelligence; types of personality.
