Abstract

CAMPO-MARTINEZ, ANDREA DEL PILAR; ACOSTA-SANCHEZ, ROSA LINA; MORALES-VELASCO, SANDRA  and  PRADO, FABIO ALONSO. EVALUATION OF MICROORGANISMS OF MOUNTAIN (MM) IN THE PRODUCTION OF CHARD ON THE PLATEAU OF POPAYÁN. Rev.Bio.Agro [online]. 2014, vol.12, n.1, pp.79-87. ISSN 1692-3561.

This research was developed with the objective to evaluate mountain microorganisms (MM) from three agroecological systems (coffee, paddock and a natural forest) and microorganisms efficient commercial (EM•1 ®), for the production of the cultivation of Swiss chard (Beta vulgaris var. cicla). For such purposes was established an experimental design, plots divided, determined by the application factor (1-2 times per week), and in each plot 3 blocks with 5 treatments. The treatments were T1: coffee MM; T2: Forest MM; T3: Paddock MM; T4: EM commercial (EM•1 ®) following the recommendations of FUNDASES and T5: cultivation without application. Weekly evaluations were performed for 70 days. The variance`s analysis showed differences between the treatments and averages of Duncan test, determined that the best plot was that of two weekly applications of micro-organisms caught in the coffee system and paddock. Captured microorganisms or MM presented more effectively in their development and performance, and soil analyses revealed that the application of microorganisms influenced some properties, such as increase in organic matter, pH and content of nitrogen and potassium.
