In order to learn about the processes of community organization and relations of the people of the village of Claret with oak forest, mobile workshops were carried as well as rapid rural appraisal exercises, which enabled the participation a group active in the community under the support of teachers and observing students at the Cauca University. These activities were integrated into an forest characterization exercise and study of insects associated with these ecosystems. Were achieved to establish the members relationships of the community with the forest, establishing the vision of men, women and children about the natural resources from your area, likewise stablished the different uses of the forest has, among the which highlighted the firewood, construction timber, fencepost, medicinal plants and game animals.
