Abstract

This article, Communication, a tool to build leadership in afrowomen non- profit organizations in Colombian Caribbean, is a result of the investigation that has the same name, this pretends to make a reflection about communication as tool of leadership build in Afro women ONG´s from Colombian Caribbean. We made an approximation particularly to the case of REMA, a net of afro Caribbean women, by means of the impact they have achieved through this element together with the organization and leadership used in its work with its women to turn their into development actors in their communities. For this, we use a qualitative methodology, we interviewed afrowomen who take part in social organizations of the region and also made a review of authors about leadership, communication, gender and afrodescendent communities. Allowing demonstrate the use of this second aspect in organizational processes not only to the issue of disclosure of messages and principles, but also to the internal strengthening among other important uses, especially if they seek to gain through new spaces speeches from its leaders.
