Subjective Well-Being refers to what people perceive about their lives, what in a state of fullness is called happiness; According to Diener, (2000) this is experienced when pleasant emotions are felt. In this way the importance of subjectivity is the evaluation of life itself and the recognition that well-being includes elements beyond economic prosperity. This research aims to analyze through the survey methodology, applying the satisfaction scale with the life of Diener, the subjective well-being of a sample of 324 university students, out of a total population of 972 young people who attend undergraduate programs at the University Corporation Antonio José de Sucre in the first period of the year 2015, aiming to know in the first instance his level of acceptance with life, while allowing a characterization in order to establish strategies for the improvement of self-concept in students, of this In this way, 44% of the students stated that they were satisfied with their existence. However, 8% were slightly below average, 3% felt unsatisfied with their life and 1% were extremely dissatisfied with this , Which allows to establish that there are alerts to situations of self-motivation in students.
